General washing instructions for karate suits/ judo suits/ taekwondo suits
Always follow the washing instructions in the suit!
Suits made of 100 % cotton:
are generally washed for the first few washes (approx. 10 times) at a maximum of 30 degrees and with a heavy-duty detergent.
As soon as the cotton has shrunk, the suit can also be washed at 60 degrees.
(higher oz thickness) the later a wash at 60 degrees is recommended.
As a rule, the suits also get clean at 30-40 degrees.
To prevent creases, only select a low spin speed, then remove from the machine immediately, smooth out and hang up as straight as possible.
Iron when the suit is still slightly damp and then hang it up again or lay it out to dry.
Tumble drying is possible, but not recommended as the suit will shrink again.
Suits made from mixed fabrics:
are usually washed for the first few washes (approx. 10 times) at a maximum of 30 degrees and with a heavy-duty detergent.
As soon as the cotton has shrunk, the suit can also be washed at 60 degrees.
(higher oz thickness) the later a wash at 60 degrees is recommended.
As a rule, the suits also get clean at 30-40 degrees.

The suit can be ironed when it is dry. However, ironing is usually no longer necessary as the mixed fabric produces very few creases.
Drying in the tumble dryer is possible, but not recommended, as the suit may shrink again.
Suits made from pure polyester material:
can be washed at 60 % as they will no longer shrink.
It is possible to use a tumble dryer.
Ironing is usually no longer necessary.

When using stain remover, you should ensure a low concentration of bleach (alternatively, stains can also be removed with gall soap)
