Poster No.2: Chum-Kiu
Poster of the second form in WingTsun, the Chum-Kiu or searching the arms. Here you practise searching for the opponent s arms to make contact. Whilst in Siu-Nim-Tau you stand the whole time, in Chum-Kiu you learn part of the WingTsun step work. This form, which is divided into four parts, is taught to students from intermediate level upwards.
Chum-Kiu requires a similar amount of training as Siu-Nim-Tau.
The poster shows each individual movement in pictures and also has explanations in English.
A must for every school, but also highly recommended for practising at home!
