General washing instructions for karate suits/ judo suits/ taekwondo suits
Always follow the washing instructions in the suit!Suits made of 100 % cotton:
are generally washed for the first few washes (approx. 10 times) at a maximum of 30 degrees and with a heavy-duty detergent.As soon as the cotton has shrunk, the suit can also be washed at 60 degrees.
(higher oz thickness) the later a wash at 60 degrees is recommended.
As a rule, the suits also get clean at 30-40 degrees.
To prevent creases, only select a low spin speed, then remove from the machine immediately, smooth out and hang up as straight as possible.
Iron when the suit is still slightly damp and then hang it up again or lay it out to dry.
Tumble drying is possible, but not recommended as the suit will shrink again.
Suits made from mixed fabrics:
are generally washed at a maximum of 30 degrees and a heavy-duty detergent for the first few washes (approx. 10 times).As soon as the cotton has shrunk, the suit can also be washed at 60 degrees.
